Joystiq has a interesting picture of a reservation card at Target for LittleBigPlanet. If you look at the bottom, you’ll notice the date for the game is going to be released on: 10/21/08. We know Sony is planning for a October release and the 21st is on a Tuesday (the day of the week when most games come out). The only thing that I question is the asterisk right next to the date. I’m guessing that means it’s only tentative.

We’ve heard some rumblings that this game is going to be Downloaded from the Playstation Network. If this card is correct, is a chance we could see it for both download and Blu-Ray? Much like we saw for Warhawk for PS3? Only time will tell.
